Where to find us
We are located on The Mall across the road from the side entrance to the Garda station.
Opening Hours
Office Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
We operate an appointment system from 0930 to 1700 hours daily. Emergencies and unexpected problems will be catered for between 0900 and 1800.

House Calls and Telephone Calls
House Calls: If you require a house call please inform reception staff, ideally early in the day so it can be scheduled for a time that suits both you and your doctor. Emergencies will always be dealt with immediately.
Telephone Calls: Our doctors do not take routine calls during consultations for reasons of confidentiality. Our reception staff will take a message and the doctor will ring you back at a time that is convenient for him or her. If you are ringing about an urgent matter or a house call please inform the reception staff so that your call can be prioritised.
Blood Results
If you have blood tests taken in the medical centre please ensure you ring for the results. The results of most basic tests are back within 1 week, more unusual tests may take longer.

Repeat Prescriptions
Please give 48 hours notice for repeat prescriptions to avoid delays and inconvenience.
Out of Hours
Between the hours of 1800 and 0800 hrs Monday to Friday and on weekends after 1300 hrs on Saturdays please contact South Doc on 1800 335999. For emergencies dial 999 to contact an ambulance.
Appointments
We operate an appointment system. Please contact 066 9152225 to make an appointment to see either your doctor or nurse. All emergencies will be accommodated but we would encourage you to make an appointment where possible to ensure that you are seen promptly.

Please bring your European health insurance card (E111) with you if you are a European citizen or from Switzerland to ensure a service that is free of charge. These are available from your local health office in your own country.
If you are visiting form the UK, please bring your drivers licence, passport or NHS card to ensure a service that is free of charge.
If you are visiting from America unfortunately your health insurance will not cover your costs here, after you pay, we will be happy to provide you with a receipt so that you can claim the expense back on your return home.
